poem "Karma Bombs" to make this recording, which he did without

writer of the poem.

And in addition to that, he then -in print- "gave" me the recording of
my poem, so all is well in the end.

As with our questions on whatever happened to Tom Bishop, I sometimes
wonder what went with Michael Cook, as well. Birds of a feather, after
all.

Since PJR has repeatedly lied about and made excuses for Michael
Cook's many thefts here on the newsgroups, from poetry to photographs,
any "proof" he would offer would of course be suspect.
The fact is that PJR has been proven without a doubt to be a
hypocrite, not above lying and siding with proven thieves if it suits
his agenda.
And are you saying that you didn't see the archived chuckles posts that PJR
dug out, including Chuckles response that he didn't give a damn!

Bishop repeated Cook's acts almost exactly the very next year with
Karla Rogers' poem "April", I was the first, and one of the only,
people on the newsgroups to respond.

You say any proof from PJR is suspect.

And explained why. PJR defends and applauds poetry theft and
intellectual property theft (the case of the infamous photo
manipulations of Usenet poets, pasted on copyrighted images of gay
pornography) when it suits his agenda, and whines and lies about
"theft" in other cases. Obviously not a person who can be trusted, as
anyone paying attention can see, no doubt.

And compared with Chuckle's theft, Cooks was trivial. Like you, none of
Chuckles, victims gave prior permission.

Explains why Michael Cook left the newsgroups, but it doesn't explain
why PJR is so determined to try and defend a copyright abuser, poetry
thief and plagiarist such as Michael Cook. Maybe someday he'll explain
his motives for taking such a no-win stance.

Michael Cook's thievery, for which there is proof of, even Cook's on
words on the subject. Unfortunately for PJR, that proof exposes him as
a hypcritical defender of a proven plagiarist,

proper credit I was establishing that.

Then, you gave me the track to do with as I wanted -which included
adding music to it, as you quoted me above- and I set it up on another

speculation that he's died... he vanished right after the hubbub over

Karla, would have a problem with the theft, since you'd been doing it
for years here with no problems.

the stolen property back over to me, I had no problems with him after

I saw as soon as Cook posted the link to his website with the stolen
material on it that his plan was to rile me up just as he had Bishop,
a move that Bishop later used so well against Rik Roots, who hasn't
stopped whining about it to this day, and not so well when Bishop
tried it again with Karla Rogers, likewise, exactly the same sort of
theft that Cook had done so well the year before with his theft of my
"Karma Bombs", and, after making it clear that he had stolen the poem
from me, took a different approach, having a different reaction... I
thanked him for his "help" with promoting /my/ work, and proceeded to
make posts leading to his link, with proper credit to me as the writer
of the poem restored. Since his thievery backfired on him Cook quickly
gave up and actually "gave" me my own poem back. Here's how I put it
in a post responding directly to him, yesterday:

out in the end.
The other fact being that you first viewed Cook's theft with enthusiasm.

My first comment was, "Hey, you stole my poem!", actually.

When the theft was calculated to make me whine like Rik Roots,
stamping his little feet over Bishop, the way I dealt with it was the
best way to handle it, and in fact, led to Cook admitting he was wrong
and turning the recording over to me to used as I wanted. All this is
still in the archives, since your memory seems to be a bit fuzzy on
the details, Mushmouth, I can repost them if you'd like.

Cook, and here, his "both" may include Bishop, who a year later

repost of what I wrote to Michael Cook himself, yesterday, which sums
the story up pretty well for you:

'Karma Bombs' poem!"

Then, when I began using the theft for my advantage, for publicity and
as a presentation of my work, and also to solidly establish that the
work was mine, since when you "borrowed" the poem without my knowledge
or permission, you also forgot to credit me as the writer of the poem
on your website (something Rik Roots is still screaming about Tom
Bishop over, when TB did that to RR), so by promoting your site with
proper credit I was establishing that.

Then, you gave me the track to do with as I wanted -which included
adding music to it, as you quoted me above- and I set it up on another
site, for that purpose. So everything worked out in the end.

speculation that he's died... he vanished right after the hubbub over

of how it went down, and you just have snipped all of that with this
post you made this morning.

I saw as soon as Cook posted the link to his website with the stolen
material on it that his plan was to rile me up just as he had Bishop,
a move that Bishop later used so well against Rik Roots, who hasn't
stopped whining about it to this day, and not so well when Bishop
tried it again with Karla Rogers, likewise, exactly the same sort of
theft that Cook had done so well the year before with his theft of my
"Karma Bombs", and, after making it clear that he had stolen the poem
from me, took a different approach, having a different reaction... I
thanked him for his "help" with promoting /my/ work, and proceeded to
make posts leading to his link, with proper credit to me as the writer
of the poem restored. Since his thievery backfired on him Cook quickly
gave up and actually "gave" me my own poem back. Here's how I put it
in a post responding directly to him, yesterday:
